Terms of Service

The Service

ZoomMap helps you turn scattered materials into zoomable knowledge maps, using AI to generate structure, summaries, card avatars and conversational answers. We keep improving the Service and may add, change or retire features. Material changes that affect your existing content are announced inside the product in advance.

Accounts

You sign in to the Service with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for everything that happens in the Service under it. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

Your content

You own the materials you upload and the maps, cards and notes you create. So that we can provide the Service, you allow us to store, process and display this content and to send it to third-party model providers for the generation tasks you start. This permission is limited to what providing the Service requires.

You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to the content you upload and that it is lawful and does not infringe anyone's rights. Disputes arising from your content are your responsibility.

AI-generated content

Structures, summaries, answers and images generated by AI in the Service may be inaccurate, incomplete or biased. Verify them before relying on them. AI-generated content is not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.

Acceptable use

When using the Service you must not:

• upload or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious or otherwise harmful;
• interfere with the normal operation of the Service, including automated scraping, circumventing rate or point limits, or probing for vulnerabilities;
• reverse engineer, copy or resell the Service;
• impersonate others or use the Service in a misleading way.

Points and payment

AI features are metered in points. New accounts receive a one-time trial allowance; once it is used up, continuing to use AI features requires a paid plan. The points, price and renewal rules of each plan are as described on the purchase page at the time of purchase.

Points are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Points reserved for a job that does not complete are returned to your account. Except where the law requires otherwise, consumed points are not refunded. Prices may change; changes only affect later purchases.

Cancellation and refunds: you can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account; it stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed. If you have not used any of the points from a new subscription or renewal, you may request a full refund of that payment within 7 days of being charged by emailing hi@zoommap.app. Payments for periods in which points were used are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

If you breach these terms we may suspend or terminate your account. After termination your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no express or implied warranty as to its fitness for a purpose, accuracy, uninterrupted availability or freedom from error.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updates change the "last updated" date at the top; material changes are also announced inside the product. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes arising from these terms are to be resolved first through good-faith negotiation and, failing that, by the competent courts of Singapore.
